Yes or no tarot

60 yes or no tarot questions

The quality of a yes or no reading is mostly the quality of the question. These are the ones people actually bring to the cards, grouped by what they're really about, each phrased so a single card can answer it. The linked ones have a page of their own with the signs to look for and the cards that say yes or no.

Pick one, hold it in mind, and ask it below.

First, ask your question. Then you’ll pick a card.

Love and feelings

Ask about one person. The card reads the feeling between you, not their diary.

  1. Does he love me?
  2. Does she love me?
  3. Is he thinking of me?
  4. Does he miss me?
  5. Does my crush like me?
  6. Is he the one?
  7. Can I trust him?
  8. Is he cheating on me?
  9. Will I find love?
  10. Is he serious about me?
  11. Does he want a relationship with me?
  12. Will I hear from him this week?

Exes and getting back together

The most-asked questions in tarot. Ask the one that matches where you actually are.

  1. Will he come back?
  2. Will my ex come back?
  3. Will we get back together?
  4. Should I text him?
  5. Will he text me?
  6. Should I break up with him?
  7. Does my ex still think about me?
  8. Should I give him another chance?
  9. Is it really over?
  10. Should I unfollow him?

Marriage and commitment

Love marriage or arranged — hold the specific person or match in mind.

  1. Will I get married?
  2. Will he marry me?
  3. Is this the right match for me?
  4. Will our families agree?
  5. Should I say yes to the proposal?
  6. Will I get married this year?
  7. Will he propose soon?
  8. Will this be a happy marriage?

Work and study

Name the decision, not the whole career. If it has a date, hold the date too.

  1. Will I get the job?
  2. Will I get the promotion?
  3. Should I quit my job?
  4. Will I pass my exam?
  5. Should I take the offer?
  6. Will the interview go well?
  7. Should I ask for a raise?
  8. Should I start my own business?
  9. Will I get into the course?
  10. Is it time to change careers?

Money

Decisions and timing, yes. Amounts and advice, no.

  1. Will I be rich?
  2. Will money come soon?
  3. Should I make this purchase?
  4. Should I lend them the money?
  5. Will I get the loan?
  6. Will I get my money back?
  7. Can I afford to leave?
  8. Should I sign this deal?

Health, home and everyday life

Care, timing and energy — never a diagnosis.

  1. Will I get pregnant?
  2. Will I feel better soon?
  3. Should I rest this week?
  4. Is it time to see a doctor?
  5. Should I move this year?
  6. Will the trip go well?

  8. Will my friend forgive me?
  9. Should I forgive them?
  10. Will this week go well?
  11. Is this the right time?
  12. Should I say what I'm thinking?

Questions to rephrase before you ask

  • “What does he feel about me?”

No yes in it. Ask “does he have feelings for me?” — or take the bigger question to a three-card reading.

  • “When will I get the job?”

Cards don't carry dates. Ask “will I get a job this month?” and read the card's pace.

  • “Why did he leave?”

A why is a story, not a verdict. The three-card reading is built for this one.

  • “Will I be happy?”

Too big for a single card to hold honestly. Ask about the next step toward it.

Questions people ask

What questions can I ask a yes or no tarot card?
Anything with a yes in it, about one thing, that you'd act on either way. Love, work, money, timing and decisions all work. Medical questions, other people's private thoughts and questions you'd ignore a no to don't.
What are examples of good yes or no tarot questions?
'Should I text him?' 'Will I get the job?' 'Is this the right match?' 'Should I rest this week?' Each names one outcome you could act on. Compare 'what's going to happen with us?' — no yes in it, so no answer.
Can I ask tarot 'when' questions as yes or no?
Rephrase them. 'When will I get married?' becomes 'will I get married this year?' The card can't give a date, but it can give a pace — fast cards like the Eight of Wands mean soon, slow cards like the Seven of Pentacles mean later.
How many questions can I ask in one sitting?
As many different ones as you like, one card each, and each answer holds until midnight. The limit is on repeats, not on questions: ask a question once, read the card, and let it stand.
