1. A reading is a reflection, not a prediction

Every reading on Moonlit is written for reflection. The cards are a way of looking at your situation from a new angle. They do not know the future, and nothing here is a forecast of events, outcomes, or timing.

We never claim that a reading knows facts about you, your circumstances, or other people. When a reading describes how something may feel, that is one possible view for you to weigh, not a statement of what is true.

Take what is useful, leave what is not, and make your own decisions.

2. Not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice

Readings are for personal reflection and entertainment. They are not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, counsellor, lawyer, or financial adviser, and they must not be used to make decisions about health, safety, money, or legal matters.

If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country right away.

3. Readings and chat answers are generated by AI

Readings are based on your input. The cards you drew, the topic you chose, and any question you typed are matched with an AI model trained on tarot reading, which writes the reading and every chat answer for you. No person writes or reviews it.

AI text can be generic, repetitive, or simply wrong. It has no access to your life beyond what you enter on the page. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking, not as authority.

A reading can occasionally fail to generate. When that happens the page shows a shorter, pre-written interpretation of your cards instead, and nothing is charged or deducted.

4. Readings without a pack

Each calendar month you can draw a number of readings (currently three) per browser without a pack. These show your three cards and the opening of the interpretation. The rest of the reading is part of Moonlit Pro.

We may change how many readings a month are included, what the opening covers, or pause the service at any time. Readings without a pack are provided as is, with no promise of availability.

5. The ₹99 pack

The pack is a one-time purchase. It unlocks the reading you are on in full, gives you 5 chat questions, and adds 5 more full readings. There is no subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Chat questions are counted across the whole pack, not per reading. You can ask them all about one reading or spread them across several. A question is deducted only when an answer is delivered.

Readings and questions in a pack do not expire. The price and contents of the pack may change for future purchases; a pack you have already bought keeps what it was sold with.

Your monthly readings are used before pack readings, so the pack lasts longer.

6. Your pack link is the key

After payment we email you a private link. Opening it on any device unlocks your pack there. There is no password and no account.

Anyone who has the link can use the pack. Keep it private, and do not post or forward it. We cannot restore readings or questions that were used by someone you shared the link with.

If you lose the email, enter the address you paid with on the pack page and we will send the link again. We can only send it to that address.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Moonlit never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details. The email you enter at checkout is used to deliver your link and to find your pack later.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

8. Refunds

Because readings and answers are delivered instantly, a pack is generally not refundable once any part of it has been used.

You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any reading or chat question from the pack.

If your payment went through but you did not receive a working link within a few minutes, or the pack does not unlock, contact us and we will fix it or refund you in full.

To request a refund, email hello@moonlittarot.co from the address you paid with, or message us on Instagram (@moonlittarot.co). Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

9. Your data

Moonlit has no accounts. To count monthly readings and to remember your pack, we set small cookies in your browser. Clearing them resets the monthly count; your pack can always be recovered with the link.

To generate a reading or a chat answer, the cards you drew, your chosen topic, and anything you type are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the text. We do not send your email or payment details with it.

If you buy a pack we store your email, the payment reference, and how much of the pack remains. We use your email only to deliver and recover your pack. We do not sell or share it for marketing.

We use analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which screens are viewed and whether a purchase completes. Links to Instagram lead to a third-party site with its own terms.

10. Fair use

The pack is for your personal use. Do not resell it, share your link publicly, or use scripts or automation to generate readings. We may cancel a pack that is being abused, without refund.

Please do not enter other people's private information in a question. Readings are about you.

11. Age

Moonlit is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission, and do not make a purchase.

12. Our responsibility

We do our best to keep Moonlit available and accurate, but it is provided as is. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, or for loss arising from service downtime, AI errors, or a link that was shared.

Where the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to Moonlit is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

13. Changes and contact

These terms are effective from 19 September 2026. We may update them; the current version is always at this address, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
